The Complete Compendium of Supernatural Entities, Their History and How to Combat Them

It has been a long road and one that has been filled with loss and regret, but one I would still chose if I had the choice to live my life over again. I Professor Serafim Athanasiou have decided after much prayer and council to write down what I have learned from my long life. I would like to stress that this is not an academic paper suited for publishing in a Journal, nor is it an attempt at garnishing fame and fortune for myself. What I am about to transcribe is far more important than such vain pursuits. My hope is that this text will be used as a sort of resource for those who have found themselves in need of such knowledge.
First I will give you my qualifications, since what I am about to divulge will seem to be nothing more than fiction or the stuff of fairytales. I earned my PHD in Archeology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki when I was thirty years old. After that I received my PHD in theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. From there I trained under Father Gabrielle Aiello a well-known exorcist for the Vatican.
After much work dealing with demons and the supernatural for the church I found myself being recruited by a deep state organization run by the United States Government which specializes in the paranormal. Its acronymically designed title will remain unrevealed though they are spoken of by most people who have encountered the paranormal. (No, they are not the famous “Men in Black”, though they do exist and work closely with my organization.)
Trust me when I tell you that I know well the evil that hides in the darkness. I can assure you that the shadows you catch out of the corner of your eye, or those times when you feel like you are being watched are very real. Modern culture would have you believe these things are nothing more than your mind playing tricks on you, but deep down in our subconscious we all know the truth. Evil is real and it is always lurking in the shadows waiting with malice and ill intent.
After a full life dedicated to combating this evil I have become, if it is truly possible for one to make such claims, an expert on the subject. In this work I will attempt in some small way to shed a light on the workings and mysteries of these malevolent forces. My goal is to equip people with the tools and knowledge necessary to combat and withstand these forces. After all, what good is knowledge and experience if it is not passed down to future generations to be utilized and built upon.
This tome is designed to be a guide for those who have through either intentionality or chance found themselves at odds with this evil. Though the information here may be overwhelming and can lead many to feelings of hopelessness, I wish to assure you all is not lost. One fact will always remain true. God is real and his power is greater than the enemies. No matter how dark the day may seem, light always comes in the morning. Of this one hope I am absolutely certain.

Origins
All paranormal entities and supernatural creatures can be traced back to the spiritual realm or spiritual dimension. To call it a dimension is a misnomer, since it is not a separate reality, but rather a parallel universe that is directly intertwined with the detectable physical world. It is not directly visible to naked human eyes, but glimpses and echoes of it can be perceived by the human subconscious.
Even though this universe exists in a reality that is slightly out of phase with normal physical reality, it can and often does interact with the physical world. In fact, it was designed to do just that. Before the fall of mankind, both the spiritual or supernatural realm and the physical functioned in joint cohesive unity with each other. The truth is, what we experience as physical reality was actually birthed out of the supernatural realm.
In ancient philosophy Plato discussed this truth in his theory of forms which is known today as Platonic Idealism. Plato asked the question, “How do we know that the circles man create are imperfect?” Likewise, he questioned, “If we can prove what a perfect circle is mathematically, where did this information come from?”
In ancient Greece they had created an environment where enlightenment and intellectual contemplation was not only permitted but fostered. In fact, most of our modern views on science, philosophy and even government find their origins in ancient Greece. Even the Romans stole most of their ideas and a lot of their artistic expressions from the Greeks. So, to say Plato and his contemporaries were back water unenlightened ancients who lacked understanding of even the simplest workings of the world, and the universe is a fallacy.
That being said, we can see that even an enlightened man like him realized through careful contemplation and study that the physical world had its origin in a different reality. He called this progenitor universe the World of Perfect Forms. He believed that in this world existed the original archetypes of the physical reality we inhabit. His example was a circle.
This led to him questioning how they knew it was not perfect or how they instinctively knew the math to prove the imperfection. This understanding was ingrained in them at birth and was something that was intuitive and not learned. They simply knew it was not perfect. So, if they knew this as fact, then likewise there had to be a place where a perfect circle that was the forebear of all other circles existed. Since through math they understood they could not produce a perfect circle. The math is the proof, but man did not design the math. It is a truth outside of man. Man may be able to use it, but man did not create it. If man did not create it, than who did?
Now, whereas this is a somewhat flawed view of the interactions of the supernatural realm and the physical, it is not far off the mark. Everything we experience in the physical had its origin in the supernatural or spiritual realm and they were designed to interact with each other. An action in one has a reaction in the other. As is often said in films, literature, and art: “What we do here in the physical echoes in eternity.” This was true for the ancients, and it is still true today.
So, since we can show that the ancients were not simpletons who looked up at the sky and said the sun was a god, or that the storms were the result of gods, which one of the many ideologies is the truth?
I presume you read my introduction, and given my history, you would be right in assuming that the Judeo-Christian view is the one I hold as truth. I will not cheapen it by saying, this is what I believe, because it goes deeper than that. The information I will be giving you in this book is not just from my personal theological believes, but from my own individual studies and practical experiences.
So, now we come to the crux of the issue. The origin of all supernatural entities, powers, and forces can be traced back to three distinct events. The creation of the universe, the fall of man, and the mount Herman event.
*Notation*: I have to make a disclaimer about my last statement. Some entities and powers existed before the creation of this universe and cannot be completely quantified. God, for instance, is a being that is beyond all human ability to understand or quantify. Likewise, some powers, such as angels, the fallen ones, the Watchers and other such beings originated or live in a universe which existed long before ours. How long is impossible for humans to calculate. We are finite created beings, we inhabit a finite created universe, and we can never understand the infinite. Moreover, we do not know when or even if God created the spiritual realm and this is why I did not mention that in my statement about the origins. The Bible says in John: 4:24 that God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and truth. So, this statement, which came from Jesus Himself, denotes God is a being that is of the realm known as the spirit. Since this is not a theological text, I will not be explaining the trinity or any other theological topic unless it directly impacts the subject in the text.
The Creation of the Physical Universe
Gen 1:1 -In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (NIV)
The Bible is very clear, and it is excepted by all Christian scholars from every sect and denomination that YHWH created the universe. Moreover, in verse 3-5 it states: And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day.
Modern science holds to the idea that all of the matter in our universe simply exploded into existence. They call this theory the “Big Bang.” They are not far off the mark, since YHWH spoke and the matter of the universe came into existence. I can only imagine what the sound of his voice was like as he literally spoke the universe into being. I am sure it was a very very big bang.
The rest of Genesis goes on to describe the creation of the physical world. At this point what we understand as evil did not exist in the mortal realm. This is not to say that beings that would come to be the monsters of our world did not exist, but rather they were either agents of YHWH or beings from the spiritual world that were unable to yet work their malice upon it.
I will not presume to understand the depth and breath of all things supernatural, and I would be a fool to try. There are, however, a great many different beings that either came into existence at this time or existed before in the supernatural realm. The divine council, four and twenty elders, seraphim, cherubim, angels and other such entities are such examples. It is unclear how many were evil at the start or became evil. We know of the rebellion of Lucifer and the fall of the one third having taken place at this time. I would dare to wager that many of the ancient malevolence that plague our world likewise originated at this time.
It is unknown to me if what we know as the supernatural realm likewise formed when YHWH spoke, or if he created it before this event. The Hebrew word for heavens is shamayim which has a dual meaning. It can refer to the spiritual thrown of God, or place of his abode, or refer to the skies and the atmosphere. We do not have a specific timetable for this, but again, it is excepted that either way, both realities were birthed by YHWH, and both were designed to coexist together in unity.
Further on in Genesis 1 we see that YHWH created man by sculpting him out of the dust and breathing his own life into them. Gen 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
This clearly states that not only was man and woman created in the image of, or as image bearers of YHWH, but that he gave them dominion and authority over the physical realm. This title that places mankind in a place of authority over the physical universe and in a position where he can unfortunately relinquish this authority to another. This leads into the second point of origin.
The Fall of Man
Satan deceived mankind and led them to disobey YHWY. It is clear that this entity came from the supernatural realm with the express purpose of enticing man to fall. Whether or not Satan is his actual name or a title, or if he was the fallen angel called Lucifer is still up for debate. One thing is certain, it knew what it was doing. Man’s disobedience was far more serious than just defiance but was actual treason against the creator. The consequences were total separation from the presence of YHWH, spiritual death, mortality, and by default, placed man under the control of the enemy thus relinquishing his authority of leadership to it.
Thankfully, even though man had fallen and been separated YHWH declared a way of redemption for them. He cursed the creature and foretold its ultimate defeat at the hands of one who would later come. We know this to be the messiah Jesus who was God in the flesh. Through death he defeated the one who had the keys of Hell and death and took back the dominion of the physical universe. This is why such beings are week to priests, clergy and all people of faith who have given their lives to Jesus.
At this time many evils were unleashed into the world. Not the least of which were Satan and his fallen angels. I will go into further detail later on, but of all of the forces of evil that curse this world, they are by far the worse. As for Satan’s validity, I can assure you it and it’s angels are real. Of all of the evils I have had the misfortune to have encountered they are by far the foulest and most vile.
*Notation*-There are legends of Adams’ first wife Lilith who is known as the mother of monsters. I cannot speak in validation of these myths since I have not yet encountered a being that claimed to be her. There is, however, many ancient and even some modern accounts of people who have encountered her or a being claiming to be her. I have always lived my life as if such rumors were true and prepared for them accordingly. I would advise you to do the same.
The Mount Herman Event
The next cataclysmic occurrence was the Mount Herman event. This is mentioned briefly in Genesis 6:1-4 and more extensively in the Book of Enoch and other such manuscripts from antiquity. I can not reference all of them due to the vows of silence I took during my time with the Catholic Church, but trust me, many exist that speak of this time and what happened there.
YHWY tasked a group of his servants to watch over and help mankind. Being holy and perfect He could not descend Himself to once again walk among man and woman, so he sent them in his place. 200 of these Watchers as they would come to be known, descended on Mount Herman. They taught mankind many things and gave them knowledge. Through their guidance mankind grew to a place of great power and technological advancement that surpassed even our modern machineries.
Sadly, this time of prosperity and advancement would abruptly come to an end. The 200 began to lust after one thing that man had that they lacked, woman. God had made woman so lovely and alluring that the watchers burned in their lust for them. They took many as their wives and mated with them birthing a race of abominations known as the Nephilim.
They rebelled against YHWH setting themselves up as the rulers of the earth and enslaved or deceived mankind. They offered great wealth, knowledge and technology from beyond the physical realm and mankind gave their allegiance and their lives over to them in service. In their sin and defiance of God’s law, the Watchers birthed a race of demigods that would eventually become the rulers over humanity. They thrived on violence and cruelty, and yes, some even slaughtered humans for food. The giants, the strongest and most predominant of all Nephilim, were known for their cannibalism.
One man and his lineage refused to bow. and they were favored by YHWH and protected for their righteousness. This line would bring about the end of the Watchers reign of terror and with it the world. In his mercy God tasked Noah with trying to draw man back from their sin, but he failed and in the end YHWH destroyed the world with a great flood. This was not only to eradicate mankind, but to wipe away all remnants of the Watchers and their children.
Sadly, many of them survived. Some in physical form and others in spirit. Their evil and malice can be felt throughout mankind’s history. Many knew them as the ancient gods of old, demons and other monsters spoken off in hushed tones. They took new names and once again attempted to enslave mankind. Ra, Baal, Zeus, Apollo, Odin, Quetzalcoatl, Brahma and Vishnu are just a few of these names. Their children the Nephilim became the monsters and demigods of old. Some even setting themselves up as kings of nations. Gilgamesh of Uruk, Antaeus, Sundiata Keita and Achilles are just a few.
So now we come to the very heart of the matter. God buried the world in water because of their wickedness. It was not, however, merely an issue of rebellious philosophy or ideology, but a corruption of the very DNA of humanity. You see, the children of these fallen beings were never meant to exist. They were a perversion of the image bearers of YHWH and as they grew in number the perfect race YHWH created declined. If YHWH had not intervened all of humanity would have been annihilated. Not just through murder and death, but through genetic breeding.
It is said that DNA from earlier evolutionary ancestors can be found in all humans. What if I were to tell you that it was not homo-neanderthalensis nor any other proclaimed ancestor’s DNA but rather demonic. What if this sliver of primeval DNA was actually the taint of the Watchers. The echo of the Nephilim. What would happen if a person had enough of this DNA in them that it could be activated at a genetic level thereby changing that person into something decidedly not human.
Do you see it now? The truth of all the evil that plagues our world is this stain. This taint that has hidden like a parasite inside humanities blood. It has festered there for millennia mutating and transforming until now it is something far viler. Where before Nephilim bore the pure power and likeness of their parents, this new DNA has been twisted and warped into something never before seen. Where a watcher’s attributes gave vitality, now this new DNA has evolved to take it.
All of the supernatural horrors spoken of in ancient legends are a result of this genetic mutation. Vampires, lichenthropes, wendigo’s, liches, undead, giants, goblins, and every other variation and monstrosity are humans who have somehow had this DNA activated. It is the taint that not only corrupts a person’s soul but transforms their very physical being into an abomination.
I wish I had the answers as to how and why this happens, since to it appears to be random. A vampire bites one person, and they turn, and it bites another, and they do not. Many men and women smarter and more enlightened than I have tried to understand it and have failed. What we do know is that the transformation is very real and that it is a result of the activation of this latent DNA. I can only surmise that it has to do with the spirit somehow and perhaps contact with the life force of the parent watcher, but this is just a theory.
In the upcoming sections of this manual, I will catalogue the different recognized evil entities and how to combat them. I will go over their weaknesses, strengths, identified dwelling places, known power levels and how dangerous each of them are. Each section will be dedicated to a single classification of enemy and each Nephilim type will be paired with its parent watcher if known. My hope is that the information in this book will give you the knowledge and tools to survive the ever-growing darkness.
The Great Old Ones
The Elder gods or Great Old Ones is a term that refers to powerful entities that have no known origin. They are believed to have existed before the creation of the visible universe, or before the formation of man. More like forces of nature than quantifiable physical beings, these immortal elemental powers are beyond humanities ability to comprehend let alone measure.
Lovecraftian in nature, these entities have long passed into legend and are now relegated to the stuff of nightmares. These ancient horrors, however, still terrorize the human subconscious giving them a certain level of validity. Any concept or story that consistently appears throughout recorded human history must have some truth to it. One way these entities are articulated is in human artistic expressions where such beings seem to always appear. Even the term Lovecraftian is derived from an early twentieth century fiction author.
These entities would most certainly fall under the current flawed concept of “Monster theory.” This psychological model theorizes that all monsters are merely constructs of the human psyche and their attempt at dealing with the stress and anxiety of survival and the consequences of human actions. It, moreover, goes on to claim that through shared collective cultural consciousness humans are able to create or summon these horrors into existence.
I can assure you, Monster Theory is not only untrue, but an outright deception generated and perpetuated by the forces of evil. Whereas man has produced significant horrors on their own, these beings are or were very real. Ignore them at your own peril.
Examples of Great Old Ones are Echidna, Typhon, Bahamut, the Kraken and Kaal. The Titans, which are described as forces of nature in mythology would also be included as one of the Great Old Ones. Jörmungandr and Apophis can also be included in this list, though there is no actual recorded evidence that they are anything more than legends. In all probability, both are most likely representations of other Great Old Ones.
These monsters have no known weaknesses and are one of the few this tome will cover that are absolutely not survivable without divine intervention. No human weapon archaic, Holy, modern, nor magical can harm these entities.
*Note-The fallen angels, such as Lucifer, can be attributed to this list, since they existed before the created universe. Such entities will be covered in another chapter and that is why they are excluded. Moreover, the Four and Twenty elders and other such holy entities are also excluded from this list as they are not classified as monsters or evil entities.
Lucifer and the Fallen One-Third
One of the three great archangels, the entity known as Lucifer or Satan led one-third of the heavenly host against YHWY in an attempt at overthrowing Him and placing himself on heavens thrown. After a conflict of unknown length with Michael and his host of war angels he was eventually defeated. Believed to be the entity known as the serpent from the Garden of Eden, he gained immense power and authority over the physical world through his deception of Eve. This led to him being proclaimed the Prince of the World or the Principality of the Air.
Lucifer, which means bearer of light or morning star, has gone by many names, though Prince of Darkness and Father of lies best describes him. Preferring to work in the shadows he and his demons have influenced mankind’s history through their subtle controlling of human political systems, ideologies and pop culture. Unlike most other evils, these beings prefer seduction, psychological torment and deceit over physical combat.
Lucifer
The most well-known of the fallen, he is their leader and is believed to be the most powerful. Since his kingdom was born out of rebellion, it is in a constant state of turmoil, but he is powerful and charismatic enough to keep it from collapsing into chaos.
Captivating, intelligent and beautiful he can out debate the learned, change the mind of even the most ardent sceptic and seduce the faithful. Being a musician and artist, he loves to influence the creative and can be a great muse. Everything he touches, no matter how beautiful it may seem, however, always holds a measure of corruption.
Also called Mephistopheles or the deal maker he is known to offer great wealth or success to humans in exchange for their souls. One such legend is that of the crossroad demon who enticed Robert Johnson to sell his soul for exceptional guitar skills. Whereas that story is just a legend, make no mistake he does and can offer great wealth and earthly success in exchange for your soul.
An archangel or Seraphim, his strength extends well beyond that of simple deception and influence. Able to hold his own in battle with Michael his capabilities far exceed all known human abilities. A master of every form of martial combat he is as deadly with a blade as he is with modern weaponry and very few are his equal.
Being an entity of both spirit and substance no mortal weapon can harm him. He is, however, weak to anything that has the power of faith in Jesus behind it. He is especially susceptible to the name of Jesus or the spoken word of God if expressed in faith. Any weapon that has been blessed by the church and is wielded by someone of faith can harm him, though it can not kill or destroy him.
The swords Tzedakah and Avel can harm him, though it is unknown if they could actually destroy him. All other spiritual beings such as the great Old Ones can hinder Lucifer, though other then the two blades of Justice and Injustice, none are able to truly do lasting harm to him. The hosts of heaven, such as Michael and his warriors are likewise able to hinder and even drive away Lucifer.
Authority
Concerning Lucifer’s authority, it is unmatched in the demonic realm. After he took the keys of death and Hell through deception he set himself up as the king of the earth and its systems. Whereas Jesus defeated him and stripped him of his authority through his death and resurrection, he still is master of those who continue to refuse to except the paid for salvation. Being that those humans who have not come back to YHWY through Jesus are still under his rule and share his fate, his authority is absolute when dealing with them. Likewise, being on par with The Old Ones, he is their equal in power and spiritual authority. His authority is even greater than the Watchers and the Nephilim.
Lucifer can manipulate emotions, put thoughts in peoples minds, can shape shift and posses any living being, and has supernatural strength, speed and durability. He is impervious to all mortal weapons; is a master of all forms of hand-to-hand combat or martial weapon including modern weaponry and can shift his form from corporeal to physical with a thought. He has the ability to fly at the speed of light and can teleport himself to any physical location with a thought.
Known Ways to Combat
Since Lucifer is the father of lies and prefers to deceive, keeping your mind clear and always centered on what you know to be the truth is essential. Meditation on the Bible and the Word of God can cut through his influence over the mind and shed light on his deceptions. Daily study and memorization of the Biblical scriptures are essential to one being able to call them to remembrance and use them as weapons against his lies.
Lucifer can be stopped or driven away by proclaiming the name of Jesus in faith or by quoting scriptures that counter his lies. Blessed weapons, such as the Sword of Constantine or the Spear of Longinus can harm him, though they will not kill him. If he is impersonating or possessing someone, bringing attention to it may cause him to temporarily flee or change shape.
Constant prayer and awareness is also a necessary skill when dealing with the prince of darkness. Being able to hear the voice of the Spirit and allow the Holy Spirit to guide your perceptions is an essential tool in surviving an encounter with Lucifer. Not only will He guide you and keep you safe, but He will also lead you in ways to counter and even hinder him.
Lucifer can and will manipulate your emotions. He is a master of finding areas in your life where you are hurting or have failed and intensify those negative emotions to crippling levels. Being able to calm oneself and keep a clear head is also a necessary skill when combating the father of lies. If you cannot, then he has already defeated you.
Items you should have in your tool kit
A copy of the Holy Bible (Most translation will do.), blessed weapons if possible, and Holy armor if available.
The Watchers
The Watchers or the Gregory are a classification of angel that rebelled after the fall. Sent by YHWY to “watch” over mankind, they became enamored with human women and, against God’s will, mated with them. This unholy union created the Nephilim who are the progenitor of most of the supernatural evils that plaque our world.
Some had their physical bodies destroyed during the events recorded in The Book of Enoch and the flood, though some are imprisoned awaiting either release or the final judgement. A few remained alive and are still at large and much of the wickedness in the world can be attributed to them. It is widely excepted that Adolph Hitler and other’s of his ilk have been influenced by an unseen hand believed to be one of the hidden watchers.
Whether or not this is the case, their evil and malice are certainly not gone forever as their spirits remain tethered to this world ever striving to influence and control the fates of men. It is believed that a select few of the watchers can possess and even rewrite the DNA of a human being transforming them into a direct clone of their former selves. If this theory is true, then perhaps the apocalyptic views some have of the end times may not be mere conspiracy or legend.
Since these ancient entities are eternal, they cannot be completely destroyed, and it is believed by most that they were the ancient gods of antiquity. Such beings as Zues, Apollo, Hermes, Mars, Odin, Dagon, Baal and other such entities were and are in fact the Watchers. Known legends such as Toph and Quetzalcoatl are perfect examples of Watchers that survived past the age of the flood. If early legends are to be believed, both appeared to ancient man offering knowledge and technology in exchange for worship.
Authority
Concerning their spiritual authority, it is a bit different from Lucifers. Even though they are in the same classification, they are not as powerful. Their own authority, though greater then most other supernatural entities, is directly related to the amount of humans that worship them. The more worshipers they influence, the more power they amass.
*Note: The current resurgence of their likenesses of these ancient entities gives rise to much concern. Pop-culture fascination with them and even at times worship of them gives them power and may lead to more and more encounters in the future.
Strengths
Being that they are angels and primarily supernatural, they are impossible to completely destroy. Even if their body is killed, they will live on as malevolent spirits still able to work evil in the world. They can manipulate emotions, put thoughts in people’s minds, shape shift and possess any living being, and they have supernatural strength, speed and durability. They can use magic, move at near light speed, fly, control lesser minds, unleash psychic attacks, manipulate emotions and it is said can even create zombies and other such horrors.
Each individual watcher has a distinct area of expertise, and they have extreme power and control in those areas. For instance, the one who became known as Toph has a propensity for technology and it is believed can even influence it telepathically. Others are well versed in magic, warfare, mathematics, necromancy and even beauty and anti-aging technology.
Known Ways to Combat Them
Similar to other angelic beings, they cannot be truly killed by mortal weaponry, though blessed weapons and weapons wielded by people with great faith can harm their physical bodies. If they have possessed a mortal, and driving them out is not possible, killing the body will hinder them and cause them to be temporarily weakened, though such tactics should only be used as a last resort.
The name of Jesus proclaimed by someone of faith will repel them and can even cause them harm. They can be stopped and driven off by the spoken Word of God, though the faith of the one encountering them must be greater then the will of the Watcher. Like Lucifer one must always have their mind in order and set on God. If you do not, then you have already lost. The watchers can and will manipulate your emotions, perceptions and thoughts playing on every hidden weakness and sin.
Constant prayer and awareness is also a necessary skill when dealing with them and being able to hear the voice of the Spirit and his guidance is an essential tool in surviving an encounter with them. Not only will He guide you and keep you safe, but He will also lead you in ways to counter and even hinder them.

Concerning Vampires
To talk about vampires, we must first mention that they are in fact a class of Nephilim. As you know, all paranormal entities and supernatural creatures can be traced back to the spiritual realm or spiritual dimension. To call it a dimension is a misnomer, since it is not a separate reality from our own, but rather a joined universe that interweaves with ours. It is not visible to the physical eyes, but it can interact and affect it. Likewise, the physical can interact with the spiritual and was designed to do so.
There are laws that govern this interaction, and they have been created and instilled by YHWY. Only He can change them or supersede them, though He seldom does. Nephilim are a result of the unnatural interaction of both the spiritual and the physical since they are the children of both humans and angel. These beings were destroyed and hunted to near extinction after the flood, but their spirits still wander the earth as demons or other supernatural entities.
As I mentioned earlier, inside most humans are traces of this Nephilim DNA. Science has mistakenly designated it neanderthal or caveman DNA, but the learned know that it is the taint of Mount Herman. If enough of this DNA is present in a human host, it can be activated by dark powers causing the human to literally change at the cellular level into something that is no longer human. As far as we understand, vampires like other such creatures are created in this manner.
Who Can Become a Vampire

This is something that is not completely understood by the learned, but the accepted belief is that, if a vampire bites a person and that human has enough Nephilim DNA in their blood, then it will start the rewriting process causing the human to literally die to its old self and become something new.
We do not completely understand all of the mechanics that are involved in the change, but one thing we do know is that not all humans transform when bitten. Unlike the portrayals of modern pop culture, a vampire cannot chose who to bestow the dark gift upon. It is completely determined by how much latent DNA resides in the victim. From all of our gathered information we can deduce that vampires do however have the ability to sense those who are prone to the change.
When bitten, a type of venom is injected into the victim causing euphoria, pain, or terror depending on the type. This toxin appears to provide the necessary material to start the altering process being a sort of catalyst for vampirization. It seems a person who is bitten with either no unnatural DNA or not enough, will not turn. They will not necessarily die, but in some cases will be killed by the venom. Usually, however, they simply become a food source for the vampire being kept alive until their bodies give out and they pass away.
One question that has arisen and been debated at nauseum, is whether or not prolonged exposure to Nephelium or watcher spirits can activate the change or if a bite is required. Since we still do not completely understand what facilitates the change in humans, it is still uncertain, but it is reasonable to assume that like other monsters in their class, they too can be created in this fashion.

Do all Vampires Drink Blood?
No.
Some syphon life force in other ways. Some feed through touch or sexual contact, while others feed on the human soul, attempting to break it through trauma or sexual immorality. They then feed on the shards and find sustenance from this. All vampires, however, require some form of lifeforce to live and maintain their power. The more life force they consume, the more powerful they become. A hunger that is overwhelming and never satisfied is a defining trait of all vampires which are a class of Nephilim attributed to the Watcher Kasdeja or “Famine”.
Are Vampires Undead?
No.
Though some live on as specters and are still very dangerous even after their physical body is destroyed.
Which Watcher is the father of Vampires?
Kasdeja is the mother of vampires. Yes, unlike the other Watchers she is a female spirit. Since all angels are in a sense neither male or female as other mortal beings are, she appears as a female and tends to mate with men.
Kasdeja’s body was destroyed in the last battle between men and Nephilim, and her spirit is imprisoned and is waiting for her children to release her. They have a vial of her blood and all that is needed is one drop introduced into a worthy offering in order to draw her spirit to it. Since she is a spirit, she requires a human body to inhabit in order to return. The person must have the right type and amount of DNA for this to work. She will rewrite the persons DNA taking over their being eventually destroying them in the process and remaking them into an exact replica of her original self.
The vampires and the other children of Kasdeja have been looking for a suitable offering for thousands of years but all attempts at reviving her have failed. Their supply of blood is growing thin causing them to be more careful in their attempts. This has meant that a lot of them have given up on bringing her back, while others continue their hope that she will return. We should all pray that they continue to fail, for if they succeed much death and misery will follow.
Types Of Vampires
Strigoi
These are the classical vampires from European lore and the kind most people think of when they mention Vampires. They look like humans and have long fangs that they use to bite their victims injecting their venom and draining their blood. Like most Nephilim they have enhanced strength, senses, durability, healing abilities and have thermal vision. They will burn in sunlight and can be hurt or weakened by objects of faith. Essentially immortal, they will live as long as they have blood to drink and never age, though they become more corpse like the longer they go without blood and can die of starvation. These are the most common form of vampire encountered. They are also susceptible to fire and extreme heat, but make no mistake, they do not die easily.
Revenant
Similar to the strigoi revenants retain their human features. More giant like, they tend to be between 7 to 8 feet tall but can be larger. Their muscles and bones are denser, and they have greater strength and durability than the lesser strigoi. They have the same abilities as their lessor kin while also having the ability to hypnotize, turn into shadow or mist, fly, enhanced speed, use magic, use psychic attacks, control lesser minds and syphon life force through touch.
They cannot be burned by sunlight, though it does weaken them and most tend to avoid the day preferring to be active at night. Like all vampire species, they can be debilitated or driven away by holy relics, though the person’s will and faith must be greater than the vampire they are facing.
The legendary myth of Dracula is about a revenant, though it is unknown if he actually existed. Immortal and nearly impossible to kill, they tend to be the rulers of the vampire world. The older they become, the more powerful they grow. Thankfully, there are very few Revenants recorded and generally only one or two are known to be created every few generations. They are immune to all elements and cannot be harmed by fire or cold.
Rokurokubi
These are vampires that are generally attributed to Asia because they settled in that region after the flood. It is unknown if living isolated from the European vampires caused their different evolution, but they have slightly different powers from their European counterparts.
Like their European cousins they also appear human, but they have the ability to extend their necks like a snake. When they do they transform reptilian and can use their long necks to crush, strangle or assault their prey like a python. Likewise, they also have enhanced strength, senses, durability, speed, reflexes, can hypnotize, use psychic attacks, control lesser minds, and have the ability to heal and regenerate wounds.
Like most vampires they drink blood but can syphon energy through their elongated necks and drain prey in their grip of their life force. Like the revenant, they can go out in the sun but are even more debilitated by its light than their cousins. Holy objects and faith repel and weaken them, and they tend to avoid churches. A select few can also control cold and minor weather creating gales of frigid wind and freezing temperatures. They are immune to cold but are very susceptible to fire and extreme heat.
Draugar
Generally found in Scandinavia, these vampires are different from their European and Asian cousins. Giants that generally stand over seven feet tall, they are strong and durable. Monstrous and massive, their skin is either pale white or ash black. Unlike the others, they don’t just drink blood but will eat the flesh of their victims.
People who transform into a draugar appear to die while undergoing the metamorphosis and are usually buried. Constantly smelling of death and decay they tend to return to their graves to sleep during the day. This gave rise to the legend of warriors returning from their grave to become undead fiends that terrorize humanity.
Having enhanced strength, durability, healing abilities, eyesight, and speed, they are generally warriors and enforcers for others of their kind. More giant than human, they cannot blend into normal society and generally hide in caves or forests only encountering humans when hunting. This gave way to many of the ancient myths of trolls and other such cave dwelling monsters.
They hate the sun which will weaken and burn them and because of this they only hunt at night. Being very durable they are extremely hard to kill or injure, though they can be harmed by any weapon that can penetrate their stone like skin. They are impervious to cold but are susceptible to fire and will usually avoid places where large fires have been built. Like all of their kind they are repelled and weakened by objects of faith.
Other Children of Famine
Wendigo
The wendigo is similar to the vampire in that it has a hunger that is never satisfied. More like the Draugar, it craves human flesh for its sustenance. Unlike the vampire, the older these creatures become, the less human they appear. Like their Norse cousins, they smell of death and decay and it is impossible for them to mask their stench. Not only do they give off an aura of malice and wrongness, but the strong stink of a wendigo also precedes it making it hard for them to hide.
Possessing enhanced strength, speed, senses, and durability, they are dangerous foes. Like their cousins they have the ability to heal and can even regenerate their entire body if their head is still intact. This extreme regenerative ability leads to their constant need for protein and animal fats giving them a continuous insatiable hunger. The more they consume, the stronger they become, but likewise, the more they consume, the more monstrous and less human they become.
The term wendigo is derived from the native American peoples, but it is also known by other names. Trolls are the most common name attributed to them in the European countries and they are considered a type of Djinn in Arabia. In Asia they were often called Krasue which is a term that can still be found in modern Asian pop culture and legend.
Very susceptible to fire, which gave rise to the European legends that you must burn a troll to kill it, burning them is one of the most common means of combatting them. In some cultures, trolls can be turned to stone by the sun, this is a misnomer and a legend that was born out of their sensitivity to light and their inability to blend into normal human society. Wendigo’s can be harmed the same way normal humans can, but due to their regenerative abilities, they are near impossible to kill, fire being the only known way to absolutely destroy them.
Like most children of famine, wendigo’s are weaker in sunlight and their eyes which have evolved to see at night become almost useless the brighter the light. Usually gaunt and long limbed with large black bulbous eyes, they seem more like an emaciated corpse than a human. Generally, they walk or move on all fours like an animal but will walk upright and move like normal humans when blending in. They are known for long dagger-like teeth and claw-like fingers that grow into something akin to the talons of a raptor, which they use to tear and rip the flesh of their prey.
Ghoul
In the Arabic world there is a type of monster that is known as the Ghoul. This term is given to any class of creature that consumes human flesh or drinks blood for sustenance. Similar to the North American Wendigo and Norse Draugar the Ghoul can be classified as a child of Famine. Unlike their vampire cousins, the ghoul generally appears corpse like and inhuman. Having a strong aversion to sunlight, they are always seen at night and tend to wander the desert preying on wayward travelers.
Like the wendigo, they have long dagger-like teeth and talon like claws protruding from their fingertips. Similar to a mole their eyes are small and upon a quick glance can appear nonexistent. Especially in ration with their unnaturally large mouths which stretch from ear to ear giving them a perpetual and unsettling grin. They have excellent night vision and an exceptional sense of smell that can track prey from up to a mile away. Humanoid in shape when clothed they can pass as humans in the dark or in large crowds, but the smell of death usually makes it hard for them to blend in. Like most Nephilim they possess enhanced strength, durability, and speed.
In similar fashion to their cousins, ghouls are weakened in sunlight and should always be fought during the day if possible. They have an aversion to holy objects and are weakened or repelled by strong faith. Having no real regenerative properties, ghouls can be injured and destroyed by most natural means. They tend to travel in packs like hyenas where you encounter one there will always be more. Even though they are somewhat weaker than their cousins their pack-like mentality makes them very dangerous, and they should never be underestimated. When you find one, always assume there are more.
Succubus and Incubus
These creatures are more akin to demons than vampires. Nephilim spirits that are consumed with sexual perversion, they can possess humans and cause their DNA to morph into a version of themselves. They consume life force through sexual exchanges and cause their prey to experience an intense sense of euphoria. This euphoria is so powerful that it has an extremely strong addictive effect on all that encounter them.
They also possess the ability to exude an overwhelming attraction and lust that entices people to them. They tend to use this ability to not only ensnare victims but keep them entranced and addicted to them. In this way they can gain power and position in society or influence over others. These creatures can hide in plain sight and unless they become overzealous in their feeding, usually go unnoticed by society.
Not only do they possess the ability to create extreme lust and attraction in humans and lesser beings, but they also have the ability to heal, enhanced speed, enhanced durability, enhanced strength, minor hypnotic and mental control abilities, the ability to use magic, and the ability to sense the weakness of lust in others. Succubae and Incubi become more physically attractive the more life force they consume. The longer a person is in contact with one of these creatures the greater their influence over them will become.
Appearing as unnaturally attractive humanoids, they gravitate towards areas where beauty is important often being found in the entertainment industry. They can be harmed the same way normal people can, though the stronger they are, the more durable they become, some even said to have been bullet proof. Generally, what will kill a human will kill them. One distinction between them and other vampire type creatures is that when their body is destroyed their spirit lives on and wanders the earth looking for a new host to corrupt. In this spirit form, they continue to attack humans using sexual pleasure and desire to drain their victims life force in order to continue existing. This is why succubae, and incubi can be both a physical and a spiritual entity.
Other Variants
Generally, it is believed that any creature that suffers from a need or hunger that can never be satiated are attributed to the fallen angel Kasdeja. One exception to this rule is the zombie or undead, which are creations of Azrael the Watcher of Death. All of Kasdeja’s children have a constant need to consume lifeforce in order to sustain their existence or power. The less they consume, the weaker they become and the less threatening they are. Most are creatures of the night and are either harmed by or dislike the sun, though some have the ability to move in the daylight unhindered. As I have said often, be prepared for anything since it is very possible that there are still many variants we have yet to encounter.
